About Brian

I’ve been training dogs for over 20 years, but my work has never just been about obedience. At its heart, it’s about helping both dogs and people find calm, clarity, and real connection.

Since 1998, I’ve worked in animal hospitals, shelters, and alongside some of the best trainers in the world. I’ve also spent decades refining my own methods through hands-on experience with thousands of dogs and families. Over the years, I’ve learned that true progress comes from more than commands — it comes from clear structure, emotional steadiness, and honest communication.

My approach is:

  • Practical and natural — grounded in daily routines that actually fit your life.
  • Balanced and trauma-informed — fair to both dogs and humans, sensitive to stress and nervous system health.
  • Comprehensive — blending traditional training, modern tools, and wellness practices like breathwork and body awareness.

Credentials

  • 20+ years of hands-on experience
  • Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA x2)
  • AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
  • Active Mondioring competitor & decoy training student
  • Certified Yoga Teacher (200hr) & Breathwork Instructor
  • CPR/BLS certified

What sets my work apart is the detail and care I bring to every session. I help you see the patterns behind behavior — not as judgment, but as clarity. This way, both you and your dog can build confidence, structure, and trust that lasts.

If you’re ready to move beyond quick fixes and create lasting change, I’d be honored to work with you.
